| We pay attention to the connections between movement, posture, breathing, digestion and stress.   Head- and backaches   as well as indigestion   often result   in unfitness for work. In those cases   where disease has been ruled out by a physician,   complaints such as backache; flatulence;   irritable colon; indigestion;   problems in the area of the head such as headache, aches in the face, cracking in the jaw, teeth-grinding at night;   sleep disorders;   a pulling, pressing, pinching in the torso, the limbs, or in the joints can indicate chronic malfunction in response to strain.   A body can react to strain with warning signals such as these without yet being diseased.   Up until now such problems were treated symptomatically;   painkillers
were given, the teeth's roots were treated   or teeth were pulled; people were repeatedly 'adjusted';   and physical complaints   were even considered to be   'psychological'. |
